We're excited to welcome Max DuBuisson to Kanop's advisory board, bringing nearly two decades of expertise in Nature-based Solutions. Max joins our diverse team of advisors with backgrounds in carbon markets, remote sensing, and AI. His experience will be invaluable in helping us develop industry-leading products for investors, corporations, and project developers navigating the rapidly evolving policy landscape.

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Max DuBuisson to Kanop's advisory board!

Max brings nearly two decades of expertise in Nature-based Solutions (NbS) to our team. During his impressive 11+ year tenure at Climate Action Reserve, he established himself as a recognized leader in the NbS space, developing protocols and sharing his knowledge with the broader community.

Currently serving as Head of Impact & Integrity at Indigo Ag, Max oversees Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) processes and ensures that his team's projects adhere to the highest integrity standards. His influence extends beyond his primary role, as he holds key advisory positions across the industry, including with the USDA, ICVCM, European Commission, and Climate Action Reserve.

Max joins our exceptional team of advisors who provide Kanop with diverse expertise and guidance:

  • Asger Olesen - Director at IWC (International Woodland Company) and Policy Officer at the European Commission, providing crucial regulatory and policy expertise to our work.
  • Elise Colin, PhD - Research Director at Onera (French Aerospace Lab), Department of Information Processing and Systems, University Paris Saclay, contributing valuable aerospace and remote sensing expertise.
  • Florence Tupin, PhD - Professor at Télécom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, bringing additional academic depth in signal and image processing to our advisory team.
  • Jocelyn Chanussot, PhD - Research Director at INRIA and AXA Professor of Remote Sensing at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, bringing extensive knowledge in optical and hyperspectral data analysis with 45,000+ citations to his work.
  • Konrad Schindler, PhD - Professor of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing at ETH Zurich, specializing in AI and forest monitoring with 27,000+ citations.
  • Mike Bekin - Non-Executive Director at FSC UK and Managing Director at Ecochoice, who also serves as an advisor to Open Forest Protocol (OFP) & OpenForests, bringing valuable insights from the forestry certification space.

Max will play a critical role in supporting Kanop as we develop the best possible product in a rapidly evolving policy landscape. His deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and market mechanisms will directly enhance our ability to deliver solutions that effectively serve the needs of investors, corporations, and project developers navigating the complexities of nature-based project implementation.
